Different Types of Products Made From PE

Polyethylene or PE is a thermoplastic material with a flexible crystalline structure that serves a wide range of applications, which depends upon its particular type. It is one of the most famous plastics around the globe, with hundreds of millions of loads manufactured worldwide every year. The marketable procedure (the Ziegler-Natta catalysts) that made PE such a victory was established in the 1950s by two inventers, Karl Ziegler of Germany and Giulio Natta of Italy.

Types of PE Fishing Nets

There are various types of PE, and each one is best matched for a diverse set of applications. The two main types of PE are HDPE (High-density polyethylene) and LDPE (Low-density polyethylene). HDPE has a more crystalline structure. Both of these types are used in a wide range of applications and produce numerous products. Another type which is Ultrahigh Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW) are used for high-performance uses in things such as medical devices and bulletproof vests. One more type includes Linear Low-density Polyethylene.

Applications of LDPE

LDPE has a very supple material with exclusive flow properties that makes it particularly appropriate for the manufacturing of shopping bags and other plastic film applications.

LDPE has low tensile strength and excellent ductility. Because of this, it is highly used in packaging industries to make pharmaceutical and squeeze bottles, caps, closures, trash bags, and films for food packaging.

LDPE is also used in the manufacturing of water pipes and hoses. Due to its plasticity and low water absorption, they are highly required in the water piping and hoses industries.

Moreover, they also have applications in consumer goods like housewares, flexible toys, agriculture films. Also, in wiring and cables like in insulators and cable jacketing.

Applications of HDPE

HDPE is considered an ideal material because it offers a combination of excellent properties, which makes it highly applicable to different types of industries.

Mostly it is utilized in the packaging industries like to make crates, trays, bottles, fruits juices, caps, drums, containers, etc.

The PE fishing net is considered the best product of PE because it offers high tensile strength and makes fishing very easier and enjoyable.
